What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels and device identifiers — do a similar job. This policy covers all of them.
Cookies we set ourselves
None. ROAS Calculator sets no first-party cookies. The tool does use two pieces of local browser storage, which never leave your device and are not transmitted to any server:

Third-party cookies
Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site is funded by advertising. When ads are active, Google and its partners may set cookies to measure ad performance and, if you consent, to personalise the ads you see. Google may use the DoubleClick DART cookie or equivalent identifiers for this. Details are published in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Fonts
Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts. Google does not set cookies for font requests, but the request does expose your IP address to Google as a technical necessity of delivering the file.
Hosting
Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for security or load balancing. These are exempt from consent requirements because the site cannot function safely without them.
Your choices
- Consent banner. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, no advertising cookie is set until you accept it. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the banner control.
- Personalised ads. Turn them off at Google Ads Settings.
- Industry opt-outs. aboutads.info/choices (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
- Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data. Look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking everything will not break this calculator — it works with all storage disabled, it simply forgets your currency preference.
Changes
If we add or remove a partner, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. See also our Privacy Policy.
How long a consent choice lasts
Where a consent banner applies, your answer is remembered for up to six months, after which you are asked again. Clearing your browser's site data resets it immediately. Withdrawing consent stops future non-essential cookies but does not delete ones already set by a third party — use the opt-out links above for those.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We set no cookies of our own, so there is nothing on our side for a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. Where an advertising partner honours those signals, it does so under its own policy; the opt-out links above are the reliable route.
Managing cookies in your browser
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Prevent cross-site tracking (on by default).
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
- Any browser: a private or incognito window discards all storage when you close it.
Blocking everything is safe here. The calculator, the formulas, the FAQ and the theme switch all work with cookies and storage fully disabled — the site simply forgets your currency and theme between visits.
